The ancient city of Termessos is an important ancient city founded by the solym, a descendant of the Luvi, one of the oldest peoples of Anatolia, in the valley between the peaks of Mount Solymos, today called “Gulluk”, in the southwestern part of the Pisidia region called “Milyas”.

It is one of the most striking of the protected ruins in the forest and is located within the National Park of the same name.

The city’s appearance on the historical scene was when Alexander the Great besieged the city and the Termesians did not surrender the city, making a strong defense.

The ruins of the city begin with the Hellenistic period wall located near Yenicekahve on the Antalya-Korkuteli highway and continue to the summit of Güllük Mountain.
